The festival is organized annually for the last 60 years and runs for two months every summer.
It takes place in different venues around the city of Athens and also in ancient Greek theatres like Herodion and Epidaurus.
It is considered the most prestigious festival for arts in Greece.
A celebration of theatre, dance and performing arts; it has hosted and hosts some of the most acclaimed artists,
from Callas to Rostropovich, from Pina Bausch to Nureyev and Martha Graham.

Consequentially we attempted to symbolize the purpose of such cultural events, elevate those themes and give them a figure. Getting people together and sharing ideas. We believe these elements represent an essential problematic of life, as Nietzsche said, we have art so that we may not perish by the truth.
